Scan your Yahoo inbox & bring order to your online accounts.

AccountHound scans your mailbox and shows you the whole picture: every sender, every forgotten account, and which passwords to reset first. Then it helps you clear out the rest — nothing happens until you approve it.

Figures from one real 18-year Yahoo mailbox. Your numbers will differ.

The problem

Twenty years of mail. Nobody has ever read it.

Old mailboxes don't just collect clutter. They collect evidence — a receipt for every store you bought from, every service you signed up for, every account you forgot you had. Most of it you've never opened.

95%

Never opened. 96,223 of those emails were ignored the day they arrived and every day since.

3,978

Senders that are pure marketing or spam — nearly two thirds of everyone who has ever written to you.

5.4 GB

Of storage, roughly a gigabyte of it junk you never asked for twice.

243

Real online accounts tied to this one address. 37 of them hold money or identity.

How it works

Scan. Clean. Secure.

Connect your mailbox once. The first two steps are what other tools do. The third is why we built this.

1

Scan

We take a census of your mailbox: every sender, how many messages they sent, how many you opened, what category they fall into, and how much space they take.

2

Clean

Elect the senders you're done with. AccountHound bulk-deletes their mail and unsubscribes you in one click — after showing you exactly what will happen.

3

Secure

We identify the real accounts hiding in your mail, rank them by how much a password reset matters, and flag the ones at companies with a known breach.

The difference

Cleanup tools stop at the inbox. We don't.

Your email address is the reset key to everything else you own. If someone gets in, they don't read your mail — they take your accounts. So AccountHound turns the audit into a security check.

  • Finds the accounts you forgot. Sign-up confirmations, receipts and password resets going back years.
  • Ranks them by what's at stake. Banks, brokerages and government logins come first. The pizza place can wait.
  • Cross-references known breaches. Public breach data tells you which of those companies has already been hit.

9 of these accounts are at companies with a publicly known data breach. Four of those breaches exposed passwords.

This means the company was breached — not that your address was in it. Breach data from Have I Been Pwned.

Full-history unlock

The years your provider won't show you.

Email providers only expose your most recent hundred thousand messages. Everything older is still there — it's just unreachable. AccountHound reorganizes your mailbox into yearly folders so the whole archive becomes scannable, often more than ten extra years of accounts and senders.

2008 – 2022 · locked by your provider
2023 – 2026 · visible

Free covers everything your provider already exposes. Premium reaches back through the rest.

Privacy by design

We read headers. Not your email.

Headers only

AccountHound looks at who sent a message, when, its subject line and its size. It does not open message bodies, and it never stores them.

You pick the folders

Choose exactly which folders it may touch. Sent, Drafts and Trash are excluded by default.

Nothing goes without your say-so

Every delete and unsubscribe is elected by you, and previewed in full before it runs. No automatic cleanup, ever.

Questions, answered.

Is it safe to connect my mailbox?+

You connect through your provider's own sign-in. We never see or store your password, and you can revoke access from your account settings at any time. You also choose which folders AccountHound may look at before the first scan runs.

What exactly do you read?+

Message headers: sender, date, subject line, size and read status. That's enough to build the sender census and identify accounts. We do not open message bodies, and we do not store them.

Which providers do you support?+

Yahoo Mail is supported now. Gmail is next. Early access members get first word when a new provider opens up.

Will anything be deleted automatically?+

No. Nothing is deleted or unsubscribed unless you elect it first, and you see a preview of exactly what will happen before it runs. Sent, Drafts and Trash are excluded from the start.

How do you know a company was breached?+

We match the companies you hold accounts with against public breach records from Have I Been Pwned. A flag means that company reported a breach — not that your address was necessarily part of it. It's a signal to change that password, not a reason to panic.

What happens to my data?+

Your audit is yours. We keep the sender and account index needed to show your dashboard, we never sell it, and deleting your AccountHound account removes it.
